We tasted Corazon George T Stagg Anejo at Meeting No. 17 on October 24, 2013. We rated it very highly at 3.25 out of 5. Corazon George T Stagg Anejo ranks 26th overall in Tequila. At a street price of $80, this spirit is on the pricier side given the our rating of it.
Sweet, rolls around the mouth, almost like oil on water. Little to no burn. Candy-like.
Deceptive burn with low alcohol by volume. Full and potent bourbon flavor for a tequila.
Very nice balance of spice and sugar. Initial heat but not overpowering.
Sweet and caramel; vanilla; warm with a round interior heat - like a radiator; a little bland, or is it smooth?
Smooth start with buttery notes. Slight bite quickly follows hitting the roof of the mouth. Quick to a smooth and fruity finish.
