We tasted Excellia Tequila Blanco at Meeting No. 22 on March 27, 2014. We rated it very highly at 3.71 out of 5. Excellia Tequila Blanco ranks 8th overall in Tequila.
Classic peppery smell with a twinge of snapped open aloe plant. Very clean, no need for salt or limit. The taste also brings a nice cracked pepper taste along with some other taste that I can't really place right now.
Strong musty pepper - kalamata olive. Stays high in the mouth - sweet and spicy. "Tequila proof the house, I'm bringing the Excellia."
Sitting on the beach. I'd sip this. Surprised. Easy ramp up to a mouth of pepper. Not harsh, but sippable.
Rank blue cheese, but after taste, a sweet melody of smooth tequila. Somebody said "juice" and if one could describe a liquor that was made to be juicy - this is it!
Youthful & yeasty like only a tequila can be. Slightly moldy ham. Taste is pure pepper upfront - "The Talisker of Tequilas." I really like this even with the challenging or rather confusing nose.
