Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 26 in July 2014
 •  4.5

Minty; piney, peppery; mineral notes? Really savory notes - vegetal, green jalepeno; smokey; volcanic lava rock, molcajete notes; lighter body, pale gold in the glass.

Even steven, rich woody spice and cinnamon. Not like any tequila I've had before. Some clove and cinnamon on the palate. I really, really enjoy this. If room for only one tequila, this would be a fantastic choice.

Awesome bottle - some smoke and fresh hay - bar fights and bear hugs.

 •  4.0

Smooth pepper. As if someone dumped a handful of black ground pepper into the air. So smooth. Delicious. The first time I'd consider a sipping tequila for home.

 •  4.0

Pepper and salt. Smooth, slowly mooves up the back of the throat - delicious.
