Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 58 in May 2017

Nose of lust. Chewy deliciousness. Full flavored but with a really nice balance. Hints of whiskey and Armagnac, but still distinctly a Tequila. Best for blowing the mind of the non-tequila drinker.

Fantastic nose. Fresh baked bread that opens up into fruity, peppery magic. I'd happily buy a bottle if I could ever track one down.

Smells like a warm burning candle. Super nice light smoke on the finish. Plus, the story is just great. Your date would either think you were super worldly or a total asshole. I enjoyed sipping this the most.

 •  4.0

Blue cheese, funky nose. Brandy pokes through on the palatte.

Pappy-whaaaa...?

 •  3.0

Lots of depth in the nose. Vanilla. Sherry cask is evident. Maybe some bitter smoke? Very nice flavor at first. Sweet at first. The flavor changes with each sip, though. Can't get a bead on this one. Maybe the most complex glass I've tasted. Green bell pepper develops in the finish.
