We tasted Corazon Sazerac Anejo at Meeting No. 17 on October 24, 2013. We rated it 2.90 out of 5. Corazon Sazerac Anejo ranks 28th overall in Tequila. At a street price of $80, this spirit is on the pricier side given the our rating of it.
Orange marmalade with an essence of clove on the nose. Same on the palate. Only the slightest waft of raw, yeasty tequila. Did I say lime? It's there.
Smells sweet but slight hints of bitter plan. Heat is created at the roof of the mouth at the back. Mouth squeaks after it's gone. Earthly dullness.
Quite smooth, very sweet and mild. Strong, sugary, butterscotch flavor. Me Gusto!
Tight caramel tequila spice without the edge I expected. Softer impact than the George T Stagg.
