Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 91 in June 2020
 •  4.0

This one greeted me with a strong aroma of salted peanuts that went away after a minute or so. Not distinctive from a flavor perspective but easily drinkable. Adding a few drops of water adds some complexity to the flavor.

 •  4.0

Like a rocking chair to lull into sleep compared to the other pours. Still has that long aftertaste of charred cinnamon sticks and brown sugar.

 •  3.5

Rich floorboard nose, but lacking a little luster. Fermented plum jam and with a stiff, dry finish. A drop or two of water opens this right up and turns it right around. Not exceptional.
