Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 68 in April 2018
 •  4.5

Like falling onto a peat pillow. Encompassing. Peat is so soothing this may become my bedtime dram. Some Springbank tang. Yum.

 •  4.5

The best qualities of Macallan and Ardbeg harmonizing. Great whisky.

 •  4.5

Lovely hint of peat

 •  4.0

Green apple with a peaty middle. Nice and tart with a smoky middle. And I only taste mothballs because of the power of suggestion and a fellow member spoiling me.

 •  3.5

Aromas of a new airplane cabin. Sherry pairs beautifully with the proof.

 •  3.5

The finest breakfast dram from the Scotch and Scone B&B. (TM)

 •  3.5

Candied apple nose. Deep, rich and smooth.

 •  3.0

Not a lot of personality here. Like an extra on a movie set with a ho hum costume.
