Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 77 in February 2019
 •  4.5

So easy, Fuck you Springbank, my wallet hates you! Finish is like a light whisper, so faint and just disappears.

 •  4.5

Finish like a hot cliff. Like throwing a torch. I enjoyed that this was laid back and not so “in your face”. Smells like green apples, and has a bright but rich taste.

 •  3.5

After the Oloroso, this is like water. Smoke. Kinda. Carmel nose.

 •  3.5

Very approachable and smooth, but misses the mark. High price and low impact.

 •  3.5

Very different not what I expected. Heavy phenolic presence that is masking what I expect is rich in nuance. Once I warned it up in my mouth I’m getting more and more.

 •  3.5

Prune on the nose; Olive oil

 •  2.5

Light and ephemeral nose. Spicy heat.
