Not labeled Rhum Agricole, but is made from sugar cane juice, not molasses.
We tasted Rhum Barbancourt 2004 at Meeting No. 59 on June 28, 2017. We rated it very highly at 3.29 out of 5. Rhum Barbancourt 2004 ranks 12th overall in Rum.
A bit of vanilla, maybe some banana, a taste of almond. Surpringly smooth and clean finish, good straight, good mixer.
What does tang smell like before you add water to it? I don't know but I imagine kinda like this. But Tang doesn't have that sweet buttery finish with a little heat.
Nose of vinly with sophisticated taste
Toasty nuts and some vanilla. Dusty guitar. Tart, drying finish. Interesting but not great.
Smells like butterscotch, tastes of new paint and palm fronds. Best drunk while wearing a Panama jack or Tommy Bahama shirt.
