Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 46 in April 2016
 •  4.0

Beautiful orange zest and cinnamon. Thick and full bodied. Grassy.

 •  4.0

Powerful molasses flavor, dark complexion. Delicious, soft quilt of sugared alcohol. Reminder of the commando crawl through the bushes at the end of a 55-day canoe trip post-rum tasting.

 •  4.0

Vanilla and molasses. Syrupy and sweet. Great candidate for a hot buttered rum.

 •  3.5

This rum makes you work to find the scent. Less pleasnt flavor. A bit heavy and blunt. I think this one is molasses based. Second time around is totally different. Very pleasant. Sweet like a light syrupy wine.

 •  3.5

Lush, vegetal, nutty, vanilla, butterscotch, maple sugar, warm
