Light and delicate nose. Rich, layered toasty rum, but missing the overly sweet notes of your molasses based rum. Perfectly warming. Nuanced. Yum.
Coffee cake #rhum - booyakashaka. Raisin ferry princesses prancing on Miami Beach.
great fun nose of Nilla Wafers, more nutmeg and vanilla. Not as much dried fruit as I was expecting. Really great taste with more of the same but you do start to pick up some black licorice and a tiny hint of cereal or maybe caramel. After tasting I'm convinced that this has to be a used whisky barrel my 3 guesses are Bourbon, Madeira or an unseated Scotch barrel. Fun drink for sure.
Sweet nose and the sweet hot body of a freshly baked spice cake after a fall harvest. A drunken spice cake. I need eggnog.
Smells like a Claxton fruitcake. Candy flavored but not overly sweet.
A rich intriguing sweet bourbon-rye mixed nose. Dries out my mouth dramatically. Good for a taste, not for a pint...
