Appleton Estate 21 Year was tasted at Meeting No. 81 on June 26, 2019. Out of 5, we rated it very highly at 3.81. Appleton Estate 21 Year ranks 4th overall in Rum. Costing $125, this spirit is on the pricier side, but well worth the money.
Beautiful orange peel and honey. Really nice sipper, almost like an old fashioned.
Smooth, reminds me of oatmeal. Light but rich, pleasant lingering aftertaste, substantial, thick mouthfeel.
Typical cola nut caramel bomb rum with some age on it. Quaffable but a little dull.
