From village Candelaria Yegole, made by Aquilino Garcia Lopez.
We tasted Mezcal Vago Espadin at Meeting No. 29 on October 30, 2014. We rated it very highly at 3.33 out of 5. Mezcal Vago Espadin ranks 14th overall in Mezcal.
Fantastic. Like a nice, vegetal, smoky, grappa.
Spearmint and alder smoke. Salty grass and stargazing.
Nose is sharp and peppery. Tastes salty and fruity. Delicious.
Smoked leather - like a used dog leash. Slab bacon agave with tall grass mixed in.
Nose: Vinyl swim toys at the pool. Sun and swimsuits. Taste: Same as the nose, but on steroids. Intense floor polish and model airplane glue. Lots of character.
Has the characteristic agave flavor with a hint of dirt. Very fragrant; floral notes; smells like the hills in Jamaica.
