We tasted El Tinieblo - Mezcal Reposado at Meeting No. 39 on August 27, 2015. We rated it very highly at 3.62 out of 5. El Tinieblo - Mezcal Reposado ranks 9th overall in Mezcal.
Reminds me of a highland scotch or certain aspects of an aged Jamaican rum. I like it a lot.
Much more subtle nose. Candy factory that never burned. Definitely honey or candy corn. Quite friendly!
Some creamy wood glue. Heavy
A nice mix of complexity and smokiness. Mildly floral, but well balanced.
Good pepper and herbal quality up front. Chamomile and germander finish.
