We tasted Del Maguey Wild Jabali at Meeting No. 80 on May 29, 2019. We rated it very highly at 3.66 out of 5. Del Maguey Wild Jabali ranks 7th overall in Mezcal. At a street price of $120, this spirit is on the pricier side, but well worth the money.

Tasting Notes
Fizzy lemon lime smoke and mint. Easy to drink, Slightly refreshing like a warm can of lemon lime seltzer.
Viscid sweet mouth feel, with a tingle on the tongue and a nice balance of pepper, smoke, and sweet agave. Me gusta.
Super vegetal with earth, ash and straw on the nose. Taste is sweet, concentrated and sharp citrus fruit. Almost salty and a little bitter lime. Finish is a bit short and almost dirty, with pepper and tar and some bandaids. I like this till the finish. Just a little too bitter for me.
Salty nose, dare I say first press vomit after too much papaya and agave Spirits? A passive classic sour lime agave finish.
