Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 23 in April 2014
 •  4.5

Nose of hay, barnyard or petting zoo combined with sugar water. Sweet, sweet earth. Mint, lime. Almost a fizzy quality. Fantastic - I can't get enough of this. This will be added to the cabinet in short order.

 •  4.0

Bright and peppery. Slight bit of cardamon at the finish. A swim in the ocean with a finish that places you at a fire on the beach.

 •  3.5

Spicy smell, complex aromas. First sip is light on the lips, subsides after a moment, then the power hits again in your mouth - sweet flavors then take over. Very much like this one.

 •  3.5

Nose of vinegar, peat, charcoal. Fruity, apple, smoke, and a light late bit that slowly spreads across the tongue and upper palate.

 •  2.0

Nose: Vinegar, mineral earth, like granite. Taste: First entry - acidic, vegetative, slightly sour wine. Finish: Oolong tea. Tart. Balance: Bright, thin. Overall: Interesting in its acidity.
