From nose to throat, long charcoal pile driver of a mezcal. My perfect flight would involves this mezcal, a Black Arts scotch, and a smokey Balcones Brimstone. My wife wouldn't kiss me for a week.
Reminded me of an Islay scotch, only with burritos.
Great body. Classic entry mezcal. Exceptional tang and smokiness.
Smokey aroma and a complex taste.
Sweet and sour but without spice. Just enough smokey abrasion to keep me from chugging.
Harsh and aggressive. Smoke is the prominent note, but it has an almost floral finish.
Smoky without punching you in the face; balanced by underlying sweetness; charcoal/campfire, reminiscent of Islay but with burritos.
