Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 48 in June 2016
 •  4.5

Nice smooth, hints of tobacco, leather, and a wee bit of musk.

Sweet nectar of the gods!! #represent

Glenmorangie - toasted dark chocolate but like water on the tongue. Smoked water.

No age statement but delicious. This is top notch big distillery stuff like a Macallan 18. No one will ever dislike this, but you could say it's not as exciting as it should be.

 •  4.0

Deep rich color, chocolate muffin on the nose. Drinks lighter than expected, with a lingering spice on the finish. Ridiculous box presentation is a plus.

 •  4.0

Rich and dark. Somewhat 2 dimensional. Very drinkable and pleasant. Good pairing scotch.

 •  2.0

Strong, wonderful banana bread aroma. Not sure if my palate is dead, but I'm not feeling this one when tasting. Hard to drink after the easy going nature of the rest of the field tonight.
