We tasted Edradour Distillery 11 Year Old Un-chillfiltered at Meeting No. 36 on May 28, 2015. We rated it exceptionally at 4.04 out of 5. Edradour Distillery 11 Year Old Un-chillfiltered ranks 2nd overall in Scotch.
Rum raisin nose. Hazelnut syrup, one pump. Soft on the tongue - sherry and so drinkable. This is like a warm bath of greatness.
Edradour Signatory bottling: damp earth and sherry sweetness on the nose. That's a dangerously sippable scotch. The weller 12 of the scotch world? This is a great way to go to gaol in the Aulde Sodde.
Lush, sweet, dark, rich. Nose of dark chocolate + cream.
Nose - licorice (anise) wet canvas tent. Taste - front spice with (soapy) middle and fast finish, light. Finish - smooth, does not linger. Ready for the next sip. Repeat!
A true barley nose - Scotland, there you are! The sherry very much comes through in this scotch with a much sweeter bourbon.
Sophisti-smooth. Balanced and sherr-yum.
