Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 21 in February 2014
 •  4.5

Sweet tropical, waxy nose. Candy. Seriously smells delicious. Thick viscous, more tropical and stone fruit. Perfect at cask strength as well. Another member said fruit leather. Great on a windy day -- no chapped lips! I added a half star at the end of the tasting because I was still thinking about this.

 •  4.0

Nose of buttery pecans with tropical undertones. Palate is sweet and spicy with a hint of cinnamon. Finishes smooth.

 •  4.0

Honey sweet with a few notes of peat at the finish. On the nose, its almost exactly the same as the taste but with a hint of fruit leather.

 •  3.5

Some prune on the nose. Leaves a coating on the lips, did I just put chapstick on my lips?
