Westland's BoldSmooth emphasizes the mysticism behind the number "four". This spirit involved nested aging, roadies for intense agitation, and a unique filtration process involving champaign glasses, gold bars, and cubic zirconium. All in all, an amazing April Fool's Day release (limited to 150 bottles) for the boldest and smoothest whiskey ever created.
We tasted Westland BoldSmooth at Meeting No. 57 on April 27, 2017. We rated it 2.38 out of 5, though we had some disagreement among member ratings. Westland BoldSmooth ranks 18th overall in American Whiskey.
Light small, water taste. A Vitamin water called "drunk."
Watered down fruit juice. Reminds me of berry flavored sparkling water. I could drink this readily, but there's so much else I could be drinking. Smoove.
Very light and nutty. Like your old boss.
Green apple. Very little mouth feel and not a whole lot going on.
sugar water with a slight bite
The boldest and smoothest is definitely smooth like water. There is literally nothing here, but a spirit colored like urine.
Weak. Unremarkable. Meh. Hints of tequila?
A little medicinal on the nose. Is this brown water??
