Westland Peat Week 2017 Festival Bottle

4 Years Old
54% ABV

From Westland Distillery: "A wisp of charred wood and a waft of roasted peanuts. The sweet and disarming allure of oak is quickly joined and upheld by a burst of peat smoke. Marvel as caramel and blackberry compote fall under the spell of the bitterest and darkest chocolate known to mankind. Admire the harmonious pairing of peated spirit and new oak, keeping each attribute perfectly at bay, leading to heavy smoke and a lifting sweetness."

 •  3.5

Westland Peat Week - Delicious expression. Great smoke and very approachable. Scents of hickory smoked bacon. Warm, slightly sweet flavor. Definitely a bottle worth picking up.

Super peat, very nice.

This is a lovely, bright, and steep smokey PNW whiskey. #pigroast
