Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 34 in March 2015
 •  4.0

Great flavor balanced with a reasonable amount of peat. I would definitely reach for this bottle on a regular basis.

 •  3.5

Mild smokey nose. Leathery warm toast - complex flavors not overwhelmed by 109 proof. A little water smooths it out.

 •  3.5

Much sweeter syrup than the scotch tonight. Different peat scent - good, just different. Is this the PNW peat, or is that an age statement? Cherry bomb on the back end. Well done!

 •  3.0

Vanilla, chocolate, but at 109% alcohol it works best with a dash of water.
