Madame Damnable is Sound Spirits first Whiskey release! Named after a famous Seattleite from the 19th century who managed a popular hotel and could cuss in six languages.
We tasted Madame Damnable Single Malt Whiskey at Meeting No. 38 on July 29, 2015. We rated it very highly at 3.50 out of 5. Madame Damnable Single Malt Whiskey ranks 8th overall in American Whiskey.
Very fruity--raisin and dried apricot, almost wine like. Light. Will be interesting to see what a little more age does.
An all around pleasant sip. Woody in a good way and very drinkable.
Very good even though young in age. Heavy on the wood and some char. Nice!
Nose of youth and barley, full nose wave. Lightly bitter with firepit char but grows on me with every sip.
Oak flavor and some char - tobaccy. Young, but maturing. This will be great.
