We tasted Suntory Chita at Meeting No. 61 on August 24, 2017. We rated it very highly at 3.38 out of 5. Suntory Chita ranks 11th overall in Japanese Whisky.
Not a surprise this corn bases whiskey smells like creamed corn. Sweet but maybe more wine finish than corn. Belongs in the Glenmorangie range. Best for easy drinkin'.
Syrupy smooth and balanced with a hint of malt and candy.
A gentle hug of a dram. Delicate, sweet, and lingering on the finish.
The cask treatment makes itself known. Good, full body for a lower ABV with a smooth creamy finish.
Sweetness. Balanced amount of heat.
Light, ephemeral. Hint of banana popsicle. Finish lingers, a little hot.
