Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 20 in January 2014
 •  4.5

"Jiro Dreams of Sushi", delicate. But full of character, the perfect delivery.

 •  4.0

Kind of like old leather, but in a good way. Makes me want to saddle up and ride all night. Delicious.

 •  4.0

Nose: Lightly smokey. Taste: As smooth and unassuming as water; faint pettiness that lingers. Very easy to drink. Light taste of cyan smoke.

 •  3.0

Nose of sweet vanilla and brown sugar. Palate more of an scotch style peatiness. Finishes a little stronger light and woody.

 •  2.5

Faint, can't get much on the nose. Bigger than the Hibiki, more straight forward. Make that straight and forward, right down the middle. Drinkable, but not exciting.
