Silky and rich. Exceptional texture. Move your tongue and get two flavors at the same time.
Ooh this has a nice nose - subtle and seductive. Elegant and aged. Great texture. Silky but weighty. This is dark. brooding, and delicious.
A lot less heat and spice than the Forged Oak. A strange medicinal alcohol note on the nose. Strangely floral on the back side. This whiskey is a lot more complex than the Forged Oak--spice and flowers more intertwined on the finish. More characteristically sweet for a bourbon.
Old schoolhouse smell, chalkboard, brown sugar, on the nose; crisp mouthfeel, cigar, dark chocolate, bitter/spice
Calm start with a spicy finish. Good complexity. Reminiscent of 4 Roses!
Nose - sweet marijuana smoke; taste - tutti fruity, sweet, mild finish; overall round + smooth, maple + brown sugar; clean + lean.
Note - soft sweet syrup, bubble gum. Taste - complex, nice texture with fruity brown sugar, instant oatmeal. Finish - really sweet, wet flavor.
