Notes of citrus and charred oak in the nose. Taste - like a warm comfortable bath on a cold night. Cinnamon. Douglas fir. Delicious.
Yummy. Notes of honey. If adult candy stores existed, the owner would be wise to make sure the shop smelled like a bottle of James E. Pepper Bourbon. Do not laugh at a joke whilst enjoying this fine spirit, you will experience an uncomfortable burning/scorching sensation as it travels down the wrong pipe. Super spicy yet oh so good. Notes > flavor.
Smell is enticing and subtle. Taste is persistent, metallic, a pleasant dry pucker.
Deep caramel, maple, notes of honey, slivers of chestnut. Another example of a liquor that is a perfect fireplace accoutrement.
