Third edition of the extremely rare William Heavenhill offering. Kentucky Straight Bourbon Small batch blend comprised of less than 12 barrels from the Heaven Hill Bottled In Bond warehouses. Blend selected by Master Distillers Parker and Craig Beam.
Heaven Hill William Heavenhill Small Batch was tasted at Meeting No. 27 on August 28, 2014. Out of 5, we rated it very highly at 3.91. Heaven Hill William Heavenhill Small Batch ranks 12th overall in Bourbon. Costing $130, this spirit is on the pricier side, but well worth the money.
Smooth, consistent not harsh. Chocolate and nutty aroma and flavors. Solid smooth straight drinking bourbon.
Beautiful caramel on the nose. Luscious, soft, supple - like slipping on your favorite old leather glove and catching with pops. Your new best bourbon bro.
Furiously hot but without a burn. Clean vanilla and oak explosions deep in my sinuses. Puckering and tannic middle, easing into a mild smokey finish.
Smooth, almost elegant cherry notes; spicy heat but all in check; dangerously easy to drink.
I don't have the words to describe the smoothness, simply brilliant.
