Claim to fame is that it's produced in France and aged in French Oak and Cognac barrels using a cognac distilling technique.
Brenne French Single Malt Whisky was tasted at Meeting No. 37 on June 24, 2015. Out of 5, we rated it 2.67, though we had some disagreement among member ratings. Brenne French Single Malt Whisky ranks 31st overall in Other Whiskey.
The Brenne: kind of a dried fruit type scent…apricoty and what not. Super clean and fresh, something that a total whiskey newb could use as a gateway to stonger amber colored spirits
Holy cavity batman! Sweet candy on the nose and the pallete. A little banana taffy,
Bubble gum or cotton candy nose. Really nice and drinkable but needs more proof, but then maybe it would be too sweet?
