We tasted Redbreast 21 Year Old at Meeting No. 76 on December 20, 2018. We rated it exceptionally at 4.30 out of 5. Redbreast 21 Year Old ranks 3rd overall in Irish Whiskey. At a street price of $210, this spirit is expensive, but well worth the high price tag.
Pineapple upside down cake + glue on the nose; butterscotch on the nose; spicy, juicy starfruit, starburst (passionfruit); well-balanced;
Nothing but fumes up front but a smooth, nutty taste with nothing lingering, hint of lime becomes apparent after reading the distiller notes
Bursting with juicy sherry, shoots to all corners of the mouth. Glues the tip of the tongue to the roof of the mouth.
