Holy scotch: there’s smoke but significant texture and refined sweetness. Delicate balance. I love this spirit. Want to give it a big hug, like a pillow-like basset hound sleeping soundly. Give me more!
Light at first but then sherry kicks in and it gets tangy. Butter toffee waves and raves. Very agreeable and without all the smoke that turns some off to the 16.
Beautiful brown sugar once the heat subsidies. Finishes smooth with notes of bananas foster. Would make an excellent everyday drink.
This is great. Nose is nutty with tar and iodine, with a good amount of peat smoke. Tastes nutty, with darker fruits and sherr. Finish is medium.
