We tasted Bruichladdich Black Arts 2.2 at Meeting No. 3 on July 26, 2012. We rated it exceptionally at 4.40 out of 5. Bruichladdich Black Arts 2.2 ranks 2nd overall in Scotch. At a street price of $200, this spirit is expensive, but well worth the high price tag.
Sooooo good. Rich, smokey, peaty, rum-raisin, woody, but subtle and ideal delivery of alcohol to the dome.
Strong raisin brown smooth finish. Sour aftertaste, Kind of portish in flavor.
Smooth peaty, smokey, clean, but lasting. Chocolate/raisin.
