I don't want to distract myself by writing from sipping and enjoying the drink. Smells like candy Best for: meditations

Exceptional complexity. Dried fruit, slight sweetness, subtle finish that lingers long after the sip is gone. Outstanding.

#stillholdscourt. Calms the nerves with a warm blanket of sherry. Why can't I drink this regularly... Need to lock down a bottle.

 •  4.5

Floral, light on the nose and smooth, surprisingly mellow finish. Perfect with an Ashton VSG at sunset over the Olympics.

 •  4.5

More layers than a croissant. I'm picturing heather and grassy banks of a nearby stream. But there's also a little pancake syrup and it's awesome.

 •  4.5

Spiritous and fleeting on the tongue. It escapes quickly into a burst of low heat and sherry sweetness. The flavors creep Up through the back of your throat--mild iodine, caramel, heat, maybe a touch of cola? Sort of a top line essence of what we know as Highland Park--peat and sherry in equal and pleasant measure.

Amazing balance. Perfect level of peat, for me. Zero burn. Lovely finish.
