A single barrel bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery. This was named for Master Distiller Elmer T Lee, who joined the distillery in 1949.
We tasted Elmer T Lee Single Barrel Whiskey at Meeting No. 24 on May 29, 2014. We rated it very highly at 3.94 out of 5, and member ratings were in strong agreement. Elmer T Lee Single Barrel Whiskey ranks 10th overall in Bourbon. At a street price of $30, this spirit is an extraordinary value. Why not add a bottle to your cabinet?.

Sweet, smooth, tastes a bit like a sweet tart.

Easily one of my favorite bourbons ever. Have to buy this.

Sweet, tropical and elegant palate. Tight, short, upfront on the palate, and then a long lingering, delightful finish. I really like this... So refined in a land of too-big bourbons.
