A single barrel bourbon from the Buffalo Trace distillery. This was named for Master Distiller Elmer T Lee, who joined the distillery in 1949.
We tasted Elmer T Lee Single Barrel Whiskey at Meeting No. 24 on May 29, 2014. We rated it very highly at 3.94 out of 5, and member ratings were in strong agreement. Elmer T Lee Single Barrel Whiskey ranks 11th overall in Bourbon. At a street price of $30, this spirit is an extraordinary value. Why not add a bottle to your cabinet?.
Sweet, smooth, tastes a bit like a sweet tart.
Delicious caramel, vanilla. Great flavor, savory. Wonderful finish.
Easily one of my favorite bourbons ever. Have to buy this.
Sweet, tropical and elegant palate. Tight, short, upfront on the palate, and then a long lingering, delightful finish. I really like this... So refined in a land of too-big bourbons.
