Linie Christmas Edition Lysholm Aquavit
Linie, the most famous brand of Norwegian aquavit is aged at sea where the rocking of the sherry casks and the changes in humidity and temperature impart a special quality to the aging process. The Limited Christmas Edition adds citrus and cumin characteristics to match up traditional holiday lamb, sheep, and pork dishes.

Tasting Notes
Heard this was winter spiced, but it's not overdone - light touch. Mint jelly. Warmth.
Buttery mouth feel. Caraway.
I'm shocked by the delightful character here. Light brown character. Kind of feel like I just brushed my teeth after sipping this, however. Caramel nose.
Smell is true to the Christmas label with mint and caraway. A little hot but not offensively so. Thin texture. Heavy mint flavor building through the finish.
