Gilde Aquavit caters to all the wonderful, weird, quirky and unique food traditions of Norway, with the aim of simplifying the aquavit choice for a good meal. The Gilde Taffel Aquavit is well spiced but delicate, and goes best with fish and shellfish. It is aged for six months in older sherry casks that tame the intensity of the spices without imparting any color.

Fascinating complexity. Hard to peg all the flavors. Licorice notes, some dill on the finish. Drinks like a more masculine gin.
Summer herbal fragrance. A garden party. New American gin. Nice and very drinkable.
Summer garden party. I'd like to mix this with soda water and cucumber or melon to make a summer refresher. And then get waisted. I revisited it after a few minutes and it's grown on me. It was nice before but now even better.
Medicinal dill scent and mint body. Prudent tummy warmer. No color whatsoever.
Refreshing, floral and fruity.
