We tasted Bakery Hill Classic Single Malt at Meeting No. 93 on August 27, 2020. We rated it very highly at 3.50 out of 5. Bakery Hill Classic Single Malt ranks 19th overall in Other Whiskey. At a street price of $100, this spirit is on the pricier side given the our rating of it.
Nose of overripe stone fruit and peppermint. Earthy - can definitely taste the barley. Has a few rough edges on account of the heat, but this finishes really nicely. Yum.
Aromas of fresh cut wood, beer, and peppermint.
Fruit forward. Surprisingly smooth for such a young whiskey. Lack of age comes across in short finish. Fantastic for what it is though, as a two year old whiskey. Otherwise a solid daily drinker.
