Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 32 in January 2015
 •  4.0

The grape comes through nicely with a perfect amount of toasty oakiness.

 •  3.0

This is a creamy but bold elixir that makes me crave a cigar. Sweetness from maple. If you spill this, honey bees will lick it up.

 •  3.0

XO, cherry coca-cola, golden raisins, maraschino nose. Wood on the palate, tobacco, oak. Long finish / char comes through. Red, syrupy/viscous character.

 •  2.5

Sweet tickle of the throat like spiked soda. A tart of vanilla rubbing alcohol lingering for several moments after... Lighter tones.

 •  2.0

I get an initial "atomic" fireball, and then an "artificial" banana residue. Late finish that dissipates quickly. Also, sheep poop. Do sheep eat bananas?
