We tasted Adrien Camut Reserve de Semainville at Meeting No. 26 on July 30, 2014. We rated it very highly at 3.80 out of 5. Adrien Camut Reserve de Semainville is the top rated Calvados that we've tried. At a street price of $175, this spirit is expensive, but worth it.
Honey caramel on the nose (cheap perfume). Smoothest most wood flavor. LIttle alcohol taste, yummy.
A truly gentrified spirit. This combines the best fruity profile of the earlier vintage with the experience of age.
Less apple, more bourbon flavor, some tabacco and honey.
Nose is more subdued; complex, good body; the darkest of the four; fruity caramel on the second pass; this is where you can tell that apple juice has become something else.
This starts out sweet, nice flowers and good nose. Just a little smoke and wood.
