A special, surprise gift from an old friend - surprise, surprise, friends! Savory explosion, king bourbon to anchor Meeting #65. Birthday Bourbon is released each year on September 2nd to honor of founder George Garvin Brown’s birthday.
We tasted Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2016 at Meeting No. 65 on December 14, 2017. We rated it exceptionally at 4.08 out of 5. Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2016 ranks 5th overall in Bourbon. At a street price of $80, this spirit is on the pricier side, but well worth the money.

Whoop. Thanks for having a birthday in my mouth! This is what bourbon should aspire to be. Corn mash is prominent, syrup and deep, deep bourban blanket.

I want this on my birthday. Juicy orange pulp and tobacco. Easy drinking long finish. Beautiful on its own, but would also be perfect with a cocktail.

This is the best sleeper in the limited release Bourbon game. Lime zest. Lively and mouth watering but with a slight bitter finish that I’ve seen in past years. Still delicious.
