Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 54 in December 2016
 •  4.0

Fruity but also straight forward. a fine regular sipper. Best for breaking out the good but not too good stuff.

 •  4.0

Light Carmel color, spicy cinnamon, warm peppery finish, hints of leather. Solid.

 •  4.0

Light. Pleasant flavor with enjoyable sweetness from the sherry cask exposure. Long complex finish. I could drink this every night and not get tired of it.

 •  4.0

Apple notes, then an oaky light start that never quite peaks. Smooth, drinkable, non-distinct. But not in a bad way.

 •  3.5

Nose of a highland scotch with a tinge of black licorice. Balanced sweet and spice, keeps the tongue jumping through the finish.

 •  3.5

Sweetness on the nose. Slightly spicy on the finish.

 •  3.0

Light and zesty, bright fruit but a little prickly and thin. Good, not great.
