Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 75 in November 2018
 •  4.5

Superbly balanced and lingers long after each sip. Gently floral, burnt honey, and a hint of brine on the finish.

 •  4.5

Soap (positive), sea airs, hay, crisp, light as air; maple syrup on the nose

 •  4.0

Smells like Yama, even though it’s been awhile. Butterscotch. Slightly ferocious, but then the sweet sherry and port notes hammer the finish home. Delicious, but a tough price tag. Best for yachting.

 •  3.5

Smells like caramel and circus peanuts. Soft and sweet up front with a sharp alcohol punch after the initial sip. Herby bright finish.

 •  3.5

Whoa. Seems a bit more opulent than I was expecting! Fairly complex with a nice lingering finish. Not as dry as I was expecting either. Interesting for sure.
