Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 20 in January 2014
 •  4.5

Fragrant, stinky in a good way. Sherried and peaty. Strong on the palate, mature and delicious. Classic port charlotte / Bruichladdich notes, excellent! If you want to wander into some serious peat, this is your spirit.

 •  4.0

Peat peat here and a peat peat there. Smooth blended goodness.

 •  3.5

Smooth, very smooth — but a little boring. When sipping I feel like an international man of mystery with very little imagination.

 •  3.0

Grappa-like, earthy milkiness; nice peaty ribbons running through the background. Cool and sweet. Haunting echoes of peat loiter for a long time.
