Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 13 in June 2013
 •  4.0

I could drink this by the pint. Smokey, a little peat, holds the flavor minutes after swallowing.

Popcorn butter on the palette. Finishes like a cigarette on the tongue. Amazing combo with bitter coffee and a maple bar. Really reminds me of my mouth the morning after smoking a cigar.

Nose is wet coal, wet dog + light barley. Missing the middle? I get the light smoke and tiny peat finish but is just goes dead in the middle. Ash and a little saving vanilla yeast that makes me okay with this spirit.

 •  2.0

Sweet on the lips and empty everywhere else. Like a high school girlfriend.

Tastes like I added too much water, but I didn't add a drop. This blend has no guts!
