Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 58 in May 2017
 •  4.5

Clean, smooth, macadamia nut, nutmeg, coconut

 •  4.0

Amazing, intoxicating blooming flower honeysuckle nose. Slightly peppery, but delicate like the nose let's on. This is a perfect start to an extra anejo tasting.

 •  4.0

Subtle nose of caramel and light grass. Wonderful flavors of burned sugar, sweet agave, oak, and pepper with mild alcohol burn. Medium length finish with some sweet fruit at the end. Best of the three tonight.

 •  4.0

Delicate. Might actually live up to the "wine drinkers' tequila" goal...whatever that means. Peppery and floral at the same time. A great slow sipper.

 •  3.5

Notes of vanilla and light smoke, smooth start with mid-palate but not lingering.

 •  3.5

Caramel on the nose. Smooth with a nice late breaking pepper note. Floral. Not much smoke. Really nice.
