Tastes of caramel corn sweetness, mingled with butterscotch and licorice. The aftertaste is a soft mouth-feel that turns into subtle spices of pepper and tobacco. 2013 Silver Outstanding Medal - International Wine & Spirits Competition

Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 19 in December 2013
 •  4.0

Cinnamon sugar spice perfume on the nose - very pleasant. Rolling, building, slow growl of caramel sugar. Very restrained, but excellent and 100 is the perfect proof for this.

Who doesn't love a good bourbon? And this is a great bourbon! Aged 7 years, but feels much longer. Delicious carmel smell. Soft pallet on the front and then quickly turns spicy then sharp. A reminder its still young.

 •  3.0

Nice blend of sweetness and peppery flavor. Unique aftertaste, but didn't seem that wild or soft. Wouldn't mix, good sipping bourbon.

 •  2.0

Pinches the mouth. Smell makes promises the taste cannot keep. A little bitter. Hot under the tongue, cold on top.
