Distilled 5 times, started with their flagship gin, probably classified as New Western dry style as it is less juniper heavy. Then rested for 7 months in french oak casks that contained Rudd Oakville Estate Cabernet Sauvignon.

We tasted No. 209 Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Reserve at Meeting No. 67 on March 29, 2018. We rated it very highly at 3.13 out of 5. No. 209 Cabernet Sauvignon Barrel Reserve is the top rated Gin that we've tried.

Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 67 in March 2018

Laura  •   •  4.0

Cinnagin with cloves. Like, no juniper. The gin-haters gin.

Justin  •   •  3.5

Nose of Hydrogen peroxide and bandaids. A hint of wine, but not enough!

Todd H.  •   •  3.5

Juicy spice. Tons of cinnamon, pepper, and cardamom.
