Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 53 in November 2016

Greg  •  11/17/2016  •  5.0

Nose: butter rum and cloves; powerful caramel and spice, slow building burn, vaporizing warmth. Hotter and flatter with a few drops of water. Long fruit finish.

Laura  •  11/17/2016  •  5.0

Nose is bubblegum and vanilla and sawdust. This actually makes me like Irish culture. A little leather, but a great balance.

Justin  •  11/17/2016  •  4.5

Beautiful!!! A whole new level of Irish Whiskey!

Todd W.  •  11/17/2016  •  4.5

Mouthwatering vanilla woodiness. Big body for Irish whiskey. Slight maple syrup and menthol complexity.

Andy  •  11/17/2016  •  4.5

Tree seven smells like butterscotch. Vanilla. I'm afraid to take a full sip. It's really good and it's interesting. Also everything else in front of me tastes like nothing now.

Rishi  •  11/17/2016  •  4.5

Favorite of the night. Balanced heat with vanilla and chocolate notes.

Garrett  •  11/17/2016  •  4.0

Smokey, hearty, spicy, meat stick of a whiskey. #yessirillhaveanother! Pour me two fingers from the roots of the #7 tree with a single ice cube and good movie. Chill fest circa 1995.

Gavin  •  11/17/2016  •  4.0

A just exhibition of power. Few 57%ers are this sipable.
