Tasting Notes

First Tasted at Meeting No. 41 in October 2015

You minx! You are back. I lost my whisky cherry to you all those many years ago. I almost forgot about you - but we all know that could never happen. Welcome back, me.

Smells sweet. Am I about to eat candy? No, but the taste is much sweeter than other spirits I've tried tonight. Dark cherry, almond, vanilla are the flavor I get. I love this, tastes great and I could drink it every day.

 •  4.5

You easily taste the talk about it. Delicious for sure! I would fill my flask, sneak it into the office and risk being fired to taste this whole bored at work. However, given the price point it will continue to be a desired bottle for the home.

Earthy nose - dried cherries. Big mouthful, rich, leathery, balanced.

On the nose this one is pretty subtle, surprisingly. Definitely more bold than I was thinking, but very clean and quaffable. Really lovely finish nice and barrely

 •  4.0

It's good, but for the price there are better options. Warm, nutty, almost burnt notes in the taste. Nice finish.
